October 20, 2025
LOS ALAMOS, NM (Oct. 20, 2025) – Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC) and Los Alamos High School (LAHS) announced an exciting partnership during Friday night’s victorious home football game that will see the community’s hometown hospital supporting the success of Hilltopper student athletes and promoting community pride.
In addition to financial support of the athletics programs at LAHS, fans and residents can expect to see special “LAMC Game Nights” across multiple sports and events featuring themed giveaways, health information, staff recognition, and activities to promote wellness.
"We are thrilled to not only support these local student athletes just down the road from our hospital, but to further engage and connect with our community,” said Tracie Stratton, CEO of Los Alamos Medical Center. “It's a natural fit that two of the longest-serving and most well-known entities in our community have come together for this exciting partnership. Go ‘Toppers!”
"We are proud and thankful to launch this exciting partnership with Los Alamos Medical Center,” said Guy Meyer, LAHS Athletic Director. “After our initial conversation, we knew LAMC would be an amazing community partner as they valued our department’s mission: providing the best possible experience for student athletes. We look forward to working with them for a long time."
Los Alamos Medical Center is the only hospital in Los Alamos County and is a major healthcare provider and employer for Northern New Mexico. The facility has been providing quality and compassionate emergency care, surgical care, inpatient and outpatient services to the communities of Northern New Mexico for over 70 years.
