Rehab Services
Los Alamos Medical Center's Rehabilitation Services Division offers a wide range of patient-care activities.
Physical Therapy, located on the ground level, is provided by an experienced team of therapists, aides and client service representatives who can guide you through the care plan prescribed by your physician.
Occupational Therapy is also offered in the PT Department.
Long-time community resident Beth Stewart offers Speech Therapy services at LAMC.

Also a part of Rehab Services, LAMC's Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Pre-habilitation programs are also located on the ground floor. These programs concern themselves with the prevention of heart and lung disease and catastrophic events connected with such conditions, as well as with the rehabilitation of those who have already experienced such an episode of care.
Cardiac Rehab at LAMC has been heavily supported by Los Alamos Heart Council, through the Anna K. Smith bequest. This organization has given quality equipment to the program and continues to promote its use through community education.
The Cardiac Rehab program is administered in phases, some of which are covered by insurance and some of which are self-pay. For information or assistance in determining eligibility and need for physician referral for this program, call 661-9101.
