Pharmacies
Los Alamos Medical Center maintains three separate pharmacies, which consist of one Inpatient and two Outpatient Pharmacies:
Inpatient Pharmacy
- Located on the 2nd Floor of LAMC (across from ICU)
- Hours: 7am – 8pm Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm Sat, Sun, Holidays

- Open 365 days per year, the Inpatient Pharmacy serves those patients who are hospitalized. Among the many duties the pharmacy staff performs: dispensing medications, performing sterile intravenous compounding of large volume IVs, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), and chemotherapy infusions, and maintaining accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs). A Registered Pharmacist is on-call 24 hours a day for the Inpatient Pharmacy.
Outpatient LAMC Retail Pharmacy
- Located on the first floor of the hospital across from Administration and Health Information Management (medical records)
- Hours: 9am – 6pm Mon-Fri, 9am-12:30pm Sat, Closed Sun and Holidays

Outpatient White Rock Retail Pharmacy
- Located at State Road 4 and Rover Blvd. next to the office of Los Alamos Children's Clinic, in White Rock, NM
- Hours: 9am-5:30pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Closed Wed, Sat, Sun, and Holidays

- Our team of Registered Pharmacists and Certified Pharmacy Techs are available to fill prescriptions, offer patient teaching about medicines, interactions, etc., and to answer questions about prescriptions.
