(West Jemez road to North Diamond Drive)

From Albuquerque:

Take Interstate 25 north to Santa Fe. Take exit 276B, known as the relief route, the veterans memorial highway, and the Los Alamos/Taos/Espanola exit north to where it merges with US Highway 285. Then continue north past the Camel Rock gaming palace, until you reach a community called Pojoaque and see signs indicating the Los Alamos exit. At the exit, you will see Cities of Gold Casino on the right, with Los Alamos traffic taking the exit and then bearing left. You have now exited Highway 285 onto NM 502; after checking the traffic lights, go under the overpass and continue west up 502 directly into Los Alamos. Some parts of the road are quite curvy, but you will do fine if you observe the speed limit.

From Espanola:

Take NM 30 south to NM 502, turning west. Proceed up 502 directly into Los Alamos. Some parts of the road are quite curvy, but you will do fine if you observe the speed limit.

Once at the top of the Hill on 502, you will pass an industrial park (with a veterinary clinic), an entrance park for RVs, and the airport, all on your right. This is the beginning of Trinity Drive, where you will see Hilltop House, just before Trinity curves left. You should follow Trinity, all the way to the hospital. LAMC is located on the left, or south, side of Trinity, at the intersection of Trinity and Diamond Drive. If you miss the first entrance, which comes up suddenly, has no turn bay, and leads into the main parking lot, don't panic. Go left at the first stoplight, take another left at the next stoplight, and turn into our emergency entrance.

From Jemez Springs:

Take State Road 4 past the back country of Bandelier National Monument, following the signs into Los Alamos and turning east onto West Jemez Road. This will take you past the ski hill (Pajarito) road and past the main campus of Los Alamos National Laboratory. Upon arriving at the large intersection of West Jemez Road and Diamond Drive, turn north (left) onto Diamond and go directly across the very large canyon bridge and around a curve to the right. You will see Los Alamos Medical Center on the right or south side of the road.
