Multi-care Unit acute care
LAMC's Multi-Care Unit receives among the highest patient satisfaction scores in the hospital and is the place where all inpatients, with the exception of those needing obstetrical and gynecological care, stay. Multi-Care offers both routine medical-surgical services, along with high-tech monitored beds in which patients receive the best in intensive care.
A complete line of in-patient services is offered by our staff of caring, dedicated nurses, nursing assistants, physical and respiratory therapists, diagnostic services employees, care coordinators, and hospitality providers.
Auxiliary volunteers assist in making your stay as comfortable as possible, and LAMC's Chaplain, the Rev. Barbara Henderson assists with coordination of responses to patients' spiritual needs.
