H1N1 flu updates
LAMC is keeping abreast of confirmed cases of Swine Flu, more correctly called H1N1, in Los Alamos. We continue to use Universal Precautions and to stay up to date with Centers for Disease Control recommendations for surveillance. Universal Precautions are defined as techniques used by healthcare providers (e.g., use of good handwashing techniques, gloves and face masks, proper disposal of used syringes, etc.) to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Watch this space for updates as they become available. See "Upcoming Events" on this page for information about this week's H1N1 vaccination clinic.
